the TWO of You

There are so many things in my life that I am grateful for… but two of them in particular rule my world.

The first… a true blue, all American little sweet heart. From the moment she was born Taylor has had the ability to captivate an audience and wrap them tightly around her little finger. An heiress to all the love and support she could ever wish for, our little princess rules with a gentle and loving heart. I always believed that dreams could come true, and having this healthy, beautiful little girl is like living a fairy tale.

For three and a half years she was the center of our universe. We bowed down gracefully before her majesty, granting her wishes and fulfilling her every desire… Until she started travelling with her “court” of “356 baby brudders”! Who knew that 356 imaginary baby brothers could fit into so many places – her bed… the back seat of my car … shopping carts ...the bath tub ...the purse she carried… Everywhere she went, her royal court followed. And heaven forbid we forget that they needed to be fed, bathed and tucked in too… ALL THREE HUNDRED AND FIFTY SIX OF THEM!

Sooo… we decided to add a prince or princess to our little royal roundtable. A REAL baby brother or sister to love and treasure. Blessings bestowed a mere 2 and a half years later (good things are worth waiting for ya know). Princess Olivia joined the ranks of our suburbanly royal family. Sparkling with a charm all her own, she has oooozed charisma from the moment she batted those amazing eyelashes at us.

To our amazement she too has the uncanny ability to turn people into putty! She works her magic not with a wand or pixie dust, but merely the twinkle in her eye or the flash of her smile. She has rightly taken her place as ruler among her fiefdom of followers.

Together, my two princesses are the epicenter of a world full of excitement and adventure. I could simply just sit quietly close by and watch them all day long… preferably through my camera lens so I can capture all the beautiful moments two sisters can share.
