Birthday Blog Train at Keystone Scraps! WOO~WOO

It's a party on the move again today!! The Keystone Scraps CT is handing out some more 1 year birthday treats created using all different Keystone Scraps Kits!!  Each stop you will find a new kit... and a new freebie created with it!

I'm so excited to be participating in my first Blog Hop! Usually I hop ON the train... not IN it!

I chose to create with the fabulous kit called  "Ooh La La"!

Once I opened this fabulous kit I was tickled PINK! It's a glamor girl's dream come true.

         

In addition to the perfectly pink prettiness - there is some beautiful blue and aqua amazingness too! With a little bit of magic (aka adjusting the hue/saturation in PhotoShop) I was able to turn a few alphabet letters and elements* into the perfect shade... Same gorgeous kit - fabulously different look...

                

 OOOOH LAA LAAAAA! 

* elements adjusted from pink to aqua were the polka dot ribbon, stitches, and alphabet letters "b-e-l-l-e and heart"

Happy VALentine's Day

My little one was quite annoyed today... why???...  because she had to go to school on Valentine's Day. The nerve! She just could not understand why the schools were open in this wonderful holiday. I guess I can't complain too much... celebrating a day all about LOVE... what could be sweeter than that?

So I'll share a layout using a little kit called "Love Bug" from Keystone Scraps... it's not exactly a Valentine's layout, but it worked perfectly for what I had in mind.

25 Pages!

WOW! They don't call it a SPEED SCRAP for nothin'! I managed to keep up with 14 of the individual challenges and complete them on-time - but the goal was to complete ALL of them by the Monday deadline... and I DID IT!  I found some fabulous designers along the way and was truly inspired by the work of everyone who paricipated. And not to mention I now have 25 layouts for my 2010 Disney Album.
